Melbourne Girls Grammar (MGGS) is a leading independent school for girls, committed to excellence in education and workplace culture. We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Recruitment Co‑ordinator to support the delivery of the School's staffing and resourcing objectives through effective recruitment, onboarding, and talent management practices.


About the role

The Recruitment Co‑ordinator plays a key role in coordinating end‑to‑end recruitment processes utilising the recently implemented Aurion Talent Module. This includes job requisition management, advertising, candidate tracking, interview coordination, and onboarding of new staff. The role ensures a professional and positive candidate experience and provides support to hiring managers across all departments.


Key responsibilities include

* Administer recruitment campaigns through the Aurion Talent Module, ensuring all requisitions, approvals, and records are accurately maintained.
* Coordinate job advertisements on the MGGS website, Aurion Candidate Portal, and external job boards.
* Support hiring managers with candidate shortlisting, interview coordination, and digital interview pack preparation.
* Prepare employment offers and onboarding documentation in line with the MGGS Enterprise Agreement, Awards and National Employment Standards.
* Conduct reference and background checks, ensuring compliance with Child Safety Standards.
* Maintain accurate recruitment data and reports within Aurion to inform workforce planning and continuous improvement.
* Provide guidance and training to hiring managers on using the Aurion Talent Module and recruitment best practice.
* Support HR projects related to recruitment innovation, system optimisation, and process improvement.


Skills and Experience

* Demonstrated experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or recruitment management platform (e.g., Aurion Talent Module, PageUp, JobAdder, Scout, or similar).
* Strong digital literacy and data management skills, with the ability to learn and optimise HR systems.
* Experience coordinating recruitment processes from start to finish in a fast paced environment.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to stakeholder engagement.
* Sound understanding of HR and recruitment compliance frameworks, including Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and the National Employment Standards.
* Experience in an educational, not-for-profit, or similar professional environment will be highly regarded.


Qualifications

* A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
* Victorian Working With Children Check (Employee) is required prior to commencement.

This position is located in the Merton Hall Senior School Campus at 86 Anderson Street in South Yarra. The role is full-time onsite Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm, with flexibility as required during peak recruitment periods. The salary is as per Schedule 3A – Clerical Employees Rates of Pay of the MGGS Enterprise Agreement 2023. The salary range is between $80,205 and $85,088 plus superannuation.
