About the roleJoin Structural Restoration Services' dynamic team as a full time Team Leader with our yard based in Melrose Park, SA 5039.
In this pivotal role, you will lead a small team mostly underpinning buildings using our drilling & pier construction methods and also occasional building works i.e demo, renovation and structural restoration of homes across Adelaide and regional areas, ensuring efficient and safe construction site operations that align with the company's strategic objectives.What you'll be doingOperate plant (mostly excavators) and equipment required for the job at handCoordinate and oversee the daily activities of you and your teamProvide guidance, training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performanceEnsure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standardCollaborate with project managers to develop and implement effective work plansTroubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on the construction siteProvide a positive, collaborative team environmentWhat we're looking forSignificant experience in excavator operations and/or the building industryHands on experience with excavator drilling and tight access excavationMust hold Class C license, Excavator licence, and White Card (Construction Induction Card) etc.MR (or higher) Truck licence highly advantageousStrong understanding of construction site operations, equipment and safety protocolsExcellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsFlexibility to work on a variety of projects and adapt to changing prioritiesRelevant qualifications or certifications in Construction, OH&S; or a related fieldWhat we offerAt Structural Restoration Services we are a growing family owned and operated company committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
