This role is ideally suited to a career minded, ambitious individual who is looking for that unique opportunity to prove what they can do and then be rewarded for it. We are looking for a Product Marketing Executive to join our successful Marketing team. This is a Home Based role with some occasional travel to the office required. We are offering this role on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave for 12 months, with the potential for a permanent chance beyond the contract period.
Responsibilities
- Appoint to join the product and proposition team to ensure our people have the right tools, resources and specialist support to meet sales targets.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the sales toolkit for use by account managers, business development, and client-facing delivery teams.
- Coordinate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure sales tools and collateral are up to date, service deliverables are clear, and tools demonstrate client value.
- Manage multiple projects, develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Define key value propositions and messaging of recent and updated products to support the Group Marketing team.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs and market appetite, analyse competition, and inform product and proposition development.
- Coordinate content creation for battlecards, proposals, product cards, brochures and sales slides; update SharePoint product pages and ensure tools are current.
- Provide fact-checking, copy-editing, and formatting assistance for product materials.
- Present a credible technical and commercial interface, extracting relevant information and suggesting solutions and concepts.
- Support product launches by coordinating training materials, sales tools, and sessions.
- Assist product owners with training sessions for client-facing teams; develop and implement new sales enablement tools leveraging technology.
- Support the wider marketing team with delivery and handle day-to-day ad-hoc requests and duties.
- Read and comply with the company’s Health and Safety Policy and take reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others.
Experience and Qualifications
- Essential: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial role.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent marketing qualification.
- Excellence in spelling and grammar.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of the B2B energy industry advantageous.
