We are a fast-paced, growing general practice in Brisbane's bayside. With up to 10 health professionals consulting at any time and a team that includes GPs, nurses, a midwife, pharmacist, physiotherapists, and social workers, we deliver collaborative, team-based care that puts the patient first.

This Role Would Suit

An experienced receptionist looking for career progression in general practice
Welcoming patients and collecting accurate personal and Medicare details
Managing appointment scheduling and coordinating patient flow
Responding to calls and enquiries with professionalism and care
Processing payments and Medicare claims
Coordinating referrals and follow-ups with internal and external providers
Supporting doctors and health staff to ensure smooth, efficient patient care
What We're Looking For
Warm, professional communication skills in person and over the phone
A compassionate and empathetic manner
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving ability
Confident using Best Practice software, Medicare billing systems, and Microsoft Office
Previous experience in general practice or medical reception is essential
