About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Security Technician to join our team at GC Electronic Security, Gold Coast, Queensland. As an Electronic Security Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and service of a variety of electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career advancement.
What you'll be doing -
Integriti, Inception, NX Witness, Ubiquiti, Hikvision, Aiphone, ABB, Bosch
* Install, configure, and test electronic security systems at client sites
* Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on security equipment
* Diagnose and repair faults in security systems
* Liaise with clients to understand their security requirements
* Provide technical support and advice to clients
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in electronics, electrical engineering or a related field
* Minimum 5 years experience as an electronic security technician
* Proven experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
