About Salty Spaces
Salty Spaces is a coworking and event space designed to bring people together - freelancers, founders, creatives, remote teams and more. We’re all about connection, productivity and good vibes in a beautiful, relaxed space on the Sunshine Coast.
We’re looking for someone who can be the welcoming presence and steady organiser of the space each morning, creating a warm start to the day for our members, handling day-to-day operations, and keeping the space feeling fresh, friendly and well-managed.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, people-focused and proactive. You’ll be the first face our members see each day, and the person who quietly keeps everything running behind the scenes.

Keep the space running smoothly
- Stay across daily tasks in ClickUp
- Prioritise new member onboarding — ideally same day or by the next morning
- Respond to all member and lead enquiries within 24 hours
- Be the go-to person for day-to-day questions and support around the space
Build connections and support our community
- Greet and welcome members in-person and online (Slack is our digital home)
- Onboard and offboard members, room bookings and day pass users
- Troubleshoot common questions (Wi-Fi, kitchen, printer use etc.)
- Manage boardroom bookings, catering and setup
- Help virtual members feel included through check-ins and welcome messages
Keep things looking and feeling fresh
- Tidy desks, wipe surfaces, vacuum and keep the kitchen running smoothly
- Check and top up key supplies (coffee, milk, fruit, paper, etc.)
- Water the plants and keep brochures or display materials stocked
- Flag maintenance issues early and plan restocks in advance
Support events and light marketing
- Assist with planning and delivering monthly member events
- Coordinate event setup, catering and logistics
- Post updates on Slack, take photos, and share light content or signage
- Keep noticeboards and physical materials up to date
What We’re Looking For
- Warm, friendly and professional, you enjoy making people feel at home
- Great communicator (in person and online)
- Highly organised and self-managing, you take initiative and follow through
- Comfortable using tech tools (email, Slack, ClickUp, Google Workspace or similar)
- Experience in admin, customer service, events or hospitality is a bonus
