The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated individual to coordinate the procurement and delivery of capital projects related to water supply, sewerage, and effluent reuse assets. This role covers all project cycle phases from detailed planning to delivery and commissioning, including representing BVSC in managing consultants and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare briefs and tender documentation for various project stages, including preliminary and detailed design, and construction services.
* Understand and communicate project scope, tasks, and activities necessary for successful project delivery.
* Review as-built drawings and update asset registers.
About You
Applicants should possess a degree in engineering, business, or project/construction management relevant to the role, with skills in interpreting engineering plans, specifications, and quality systems. Essential skills and experience include:
* Experience managing water supply and sewerage projects across the project cycle.
* Understanding of contract management, risk management, WHS, and EEO principles.
* Ability to manage contractor and consultant relationships effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and spatial information software.
Benefits
This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week, with a starting gross annual salary of $125,312.17, including:
* Base salary: $2,161.30 per week
* Superannuation: $248.55 per week (11.5%)
