* Building strong, respectful relationships with educators, families, and the wider community
* Mentoring and developing educators to deliver high-quality, child-centred practice
* Supporting compliance across the NQF, EYLF and regulatory requirements
* Contributing to a positive, inclusive culture where people feel valued and supported
About You
You are a confident and capable early childhood leader who brings both professionalism and warmth to your role. You are organised, calm under pressure, and committed to continuous improvement.
You Will Have
* A Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
* Proven Assistant Director experience (or equivalent senior leadership experience in an early learning setting)
* A strong working knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead with clarity, empathy, and purpose
* A genuine passion for supporting teams and creating high-quality learning environments

* Two paid wellbeing days each year
* Ongoing professional development through the OAC Academy
* A supportive leadership network and clear career pathways
* 50% childcare discount for your own children
* A culture that celebrates achievements and invests in people
If you are an experienced Assistant Director looking to take the next step in a supportive, values-led organisation, we would love to hear from you.
