Our client is a large federal department that has responsibility for the safety and security of Australia and its citizens.
HorizonOne Recruitment are the leading specialists in recruitment across federal government departments, and have been engaged to assist this government agency recruit a number of vacancies in Adelaide given surge work requirements.
The Opportunity
The Opportunity Work with a team known for a great culture, where you will be offered an initial 6 month contract opportunity to join their accounts payable team with view to permanency.
You will be a part of BAU work as well as numerous projects and be working alongside strong performing team members.

The Role
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Process invoices and accounts payable transactions
- Respond to finance-related enquiries via phone and email
- Maintain accurate records in Defence financial systems
- Support compliance with finance policies and procedures
- Provide general administrative support as required
- Project work as required

You will be a high performing, tech savvy, finance minded professional who enjoys hardworking and rapid paced environments and take pride in your work.
A high level of attention to detail is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are equally important as being able to work within the team and with external stakeholders will be critical to your success in this role. You will also be able to think independently to solve problems and show initiative.
Current Australian Citizenship is mandatory as you will be required to go through a AGSVA process to perform the role.

- $69k + 15.4% Super
