Financial Performance Analyst - P&L Expertise
The ideal candidate will be a key point of contact to internal stakeholders across all divisions within the organisation, to provide assistance with understanding and interpreting the Profit and Loss.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Perform ongoing analysis of key financial positions, reports, and processes within the Controlling responsibilities.
* Develop, prepare and present reports on financial performance and other key metrics to provide meaningful analysis and commentary to assist with decision making
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and improve overall efficiency.
* Assist with the review of month end tasks, with consideration to the impact on the divisional results to assist with commentary to management.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards related to inventory management and internal controls.
Requirements
* Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong interpersonal skills which enable you to partner with all employees within the organisation
* Ability to explain complex accounting to stakeholders of varying degrees of financial literacy
* Logical thinking and problem-solving skills, together with a passion for working with complexity
* Experience with data analytical tools in Excel - Power Query, Power Pivot etc
* Experience with Power BI advantageous
* Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Accounting or similar (CPA or CA required)
* 5+ years experience working in a complex sales and distribution organisation in a Management Accountant / Controller role
