The ideal candidate will possess advanced communication skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will be responsible for preparing proposals, reviewing reports, conducting field investigations, and contributing to high-level reporting.

* Supporting the identification of environmental constraints and opportunities across multiple projects
For this position, we require a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong academic background and extensive experience in delivering all aspects and scales of ecological field surveys and statutory assessments.
Key qualifications and skills required include:
* Undergraduate degree in a related discipline, such as Environmental Science or Ecology
* Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) plus years of professional experience in ecological or environmental consulting
* Proven ability to write clear, concise, and scientifically accurate reports
* Advanced GIS skills, including data interrogation and preparation of ecological attribute maps
* Expertise in flora and fauna identification, vegetation mapping, plant community types, and complex ecological assessments
Preferred candidates will have accreditation as an assessor under the NSW Biodiversity Accredited Assessor System, with broad experience applying the Biodiversity Assessment Method. Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field are also highly regarded.
