Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will provide assistance to the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Controllers. This role will be responsible for processing a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring they align with purchase orders, and managing approvals in accordance with company policies. The role involves maintaining accurate AP records, managing a high-volume inbox, and assisting with invoice data entry for accounts receivable. Additionally, the position will support documentation management and contribute to ad-hoc tasks and projects as directed by the Financial Controller.
This role offers flexible work arrangements, with ordinary hours of 35–40 per week during winter operations and the option to reduce to a four-day workweek in the off-season.
The role can be based in Jindabyne at The Station or remotely anywhere within Australia. Jindabyne is a lively hub in the Snowy Mountains, offering year-round outdoor activities, a strong community, and stunning lake and alpine scenery. In a typical day in this role, you might:
Process a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Actively work with Expense Approvers to resolve coding and approval issues
Ensure correct coding and proper authorisation in line with company policies and regulatory requirements
Manage a high volume AP email inbox and maintain AP records to ensure all electronic documentation is filed correctly
To be considered for this role, you should have:
A demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff
Proven computer literacy with Windows operating systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel
