Job Summary
The System Administrator role is focused on ensuring the optimal operation and management of ICT infrastructure systems. This position is critical to the delivery of seamless IT services, and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of systems within our ICT services framework.
Key Responsibilities
* System Administration: Perform routine tasks to guarantee the integrity and availability of IT networks and systems.
* IT Request Management: Manage IT network requests in accordance with established procedures.
* Technical Support: Provide expert advice to technical staff on networks and systems as required.
* Incident Response: Restore services in the event of an outage and participate in resolving issues.
* Monitoring and Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on backups and network health to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in ICT infrastructure.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Exchange, SQL, and Identity Management in a corporate environment.
* Experience in maintaining a LAN/WAN in a corporate setting.
* Experience in maintaining a highly available SAN and Hypervisor environment.
