We are seeking a skilled Home Care Assistant to provide home help services and personal care to our elderly clients residing in Hobart. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality home care services, including domestic assistance, personal care, and companionship;
* Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming;
* Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients, promoting nutrition and well-being;
* Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients;
* Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
Requirements
* Diploma or Certificate III in Aged Care or related field;
* Minimum 12 months experience in home care or aged care;
* Current First Aid and CPR certification;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Physically fit and able to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
