Details: The Environmental Offsets – Planning, Monitoring and Research team is looking for a professional and motivated Program Officer to provide strategic planning and governance support in the delivery of offsets in the ACT. This role will see you apply your strong analysis and communication skills and give you the opportunity to influence environmental decisions. You will work with passionate and highly skilled ecologists, land managers, planners, spatial data experts and more across the ACT and Commonwealth Governments, and private sector, to deliver biodiversity outcomes for threatened species and ecological communities.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Desirable
* Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Public Policy, Environmental Law, Environmental Sciences, Natural Resource Management or other relevant fields
* Willingness to undertake incident management duties, including participation in fire standby, fire suppression and fire training.
