About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity to contribute to a safe and pleasant living environment for all village residents and visitors while making a meaningful difference in our clients lives by maintaining beautiful and functional spaces that enhance their retirement experience.
As Maintenance Officer, you will ensure residents enjoy well-maintained dwellings, property and grounds through both scheduled and responsive maintenance services. You will complete all maintenance tasks within specified timeframes while maintaining meticulous electronic records to track progress and completion.
About You
The ideal Maintenance Officer is a highly active individual who approaches their work with enthusiasm and responsiveness, consistently demonstrating initiative when addressing both planned and unexpected maintenance needs.
You possess excellent interpersonal skills, allowing you to communicate effectively with elderly residents about maintenance activities, service interruptions, and operational changes with patience and clarity.
Above all you will embody ECH's values by creating an environment where residents can thrive, recognising your work directly impacts the quality of life and well-being of the retirement community.
Essential Criteria
* National Police check
* Australian Drivers licence
* First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling
Desirable
* Trade qualification in building maintenance/ gardening/ horticulture
