Job Opportunity
The Assistant Watchhouse Officer plays a pivotal role in the administration, supervision and monitoring of persons in custody and visitors to the facility. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate prisoner records, operating surveillance systems and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
Other key duties include assisting with the processing of new detainees, providing for the welfare, comfort and security of prisoners, and managing records related to their health requirements.
Key Requirements:
* Possession of a valid Open C Class Drivers Licence
* Ability to work a shift-based rotational roster, including 24-hour and 7-day periods
* Willingness to adhere to dress code regulations and wear an assigned uniform
