The objective of the Senior Treasury Analyst - Funding and Analytics is to play a proactive role in managing warehouse liquidity, analysing data, producing and reviewing various reports. An important facet of the role to have a solid understanding of warehouse structures and relevant transaction documents, review and monitor warehouse triggers proactively and ensure sufficient funding is available to support the lending business of Pepper across all asset classes on a daily basis. This role will also assist in funding forecast and modelling, as well as undertake projects with a strong focus of driving automation and improving efficiency.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll:
1. Have 3-5 years’ experience within a Treasury role and a degree in Finance, accounting or equivalent
2. Have a good understanding of treasury functions and securitisation
3. Have advanced Excel and analytical skills. Preferably have intermediate experience with Alteryx, Tableau or SQL
4. Have demonstrated experience in analysing large data sets and modelling
5. Have great attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
6. Prepare and review various analysis of data and make meaningful observations and recommendations where possible to support decision making
7. Prepare and review accurate reporting packs for distribution internally and externally in a timely manner
8. Have a solid understanding of warehouse transaction documents and ensure compliance with covenants
9. Monitor cash position in warehouse accounts, forecast funding requirements and issue instructions for drawdowns as necessary
10. Reviewing processes and controls to identify risks and ensure any risks are appropriately mitigated
11. Work with various teams to facilitate automation of reports and tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
