Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Hotel Operations Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our hotel's overnight operation. The ideal candidate will be able to maximize guest satisfaction while maintaining the safety and security of the property.
Responsibilities
* Complete daily revenue audits and make adjustments as needed
* Manage paperwork and reports for finance and management teams
* Provide exceptional guest services including check-in/out, request handling, and providing hotel information
* Maintain accurate guest accounts and settle transactions efficiently
* Implement and maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety
* Maintain the hotel's high standard of professionalism
* Analytical skills with attention to detail are essential
* Assist senior management in various operational checks and balances
* Support Food & Beverage duties as required, including food production, service, and cleaning of prep and service areas
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Guest-focused approach with ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
* Ability to navigate change and provide creative problem-solving solutions
* Clear and confident communication skills – both written and verbal
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Opera systems is preferred
* Valid RSA and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain prior to starting
