Working with us
* For 1 year, receive an isolation bonus of AUD$3,500. Stay for 2 years to receive AUD$10,500, and for your 3rd year (and every year after) AUD$7,000.
* In your downtime, we provide 2 return airfares per annum (including spouse/dependents) to the nearest east coast city, along with 5 weeks of recreation leave with a 17.5% loading/bonus.
* Base salary ranges between $107,960 and $115,604 per annum (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1).

About The Role
The Emergency Department at North West Hospital and Health Service in Mount Isa provides urgent and emergent health care to a rural and remote population. It manages a wide range of emergency cases, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions.
The Clinical Nurse role involves advanced clinical skills, problem-solving, planning, and coordination in managing ED patients with complex needs. The role works autonomously within the healthcare team to deliver specialist emergency nursing care.
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary degree and appropriate registration/licence as a Registered Nurse.
* Postgraduate qualification or current enrolment in a relevant postgraduate program is highly desirable.
* Availability to work all shifts as per the roster.
* Travel to various facilities within the North West HHS may be required.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Pre-employment checks, including Criminal History screening.
* Evidence of vaccination or immunity for Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis may be required.
* Probation period may apply.
