About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer Apprentice to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in using trade tools and test equipment, complete apprenticeship studies, and gain all relevant competencies in a timely manner.
This is a full-time position with on-the-job training provided. Our team provides market experience and leading research and development capabilities, allowing you to tackle complex problems and achieve your career goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
* Complete apprenticeship studies and gain all relevant competencies in a timely manner.
* Learn and work according to business processes, systems, procedures, policies, instructions, and schedules.
Requirements
* Recent school leaver or transitioning from VCE studies to an apprenticeship.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with different groups of people.
What to Expect
You will be part of a competency-based apprenticeship focused on obtaining a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade (MEM30219). You will work closely with experienced tradespeople and maintenance support staff to build relationships and gain respect.
