Overview
A well-regarded law firm based in Southport is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its Litigation team on a temporary full-time basis for up to one month. This is an excellent short-term opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is available for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
* Drafting and amending legal correspondence, court documents, and briefs
* Managing diaries, appointments, and court deadlines
* Assisting with client queries and file management
* Preparing invoices and performing general administrative duties
* Supporting lawyers with day-to-day legal secretarial tasks
* Coordinating filing (both electronic and physical) and archiving tasks
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a legal secretary or legal assistant role (litigation preferred)
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent attention to detail and document formatting abilities
* Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
* A proactive and team-oriented attitude
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems
