As a result of continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Estimator to join their team and play a key role in securing and delivering successful projects. The Opportunity Based in Sydney, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for commercial fit-out projects ranging from $500,000 to $10 million. Working closely with company leadership, project delivery teams, suppliers and subcontractors, you will be involved throughout the tender process, helping secure new work and setting projects up for successful delivery. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects and genuine opportunities for career development within a growing business. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs and tender submissions for commercial fit-out projects Review drawings, specifications and project documentation to determine project scope and pricing requirements Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations Develop scopes of work and procurement packages Identify project risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions Assist with budget development and tender strategy Support project handovers to delivery teams Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and industry partners Ensure all tender submissions are accurate, compliant and submitted within required timeframes Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes About You To be successful in this role, you will have: 2–5 years' experience estimating commercial fit-out, shopfitting or interior construction projects in Australia Experience pricing projects valued between $500K and $3M highly regarded Strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies and fit-out processes Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and tender documentation Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability Proficiency in Cost X and other estimating software preferred Ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines Strong communication and relationship-building skills A proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work Why This Opportunity Stands Out Diverse portfolio of commercial, workplace, retail and hospitality projects Opportunity to work on projects ranging from $500K–$10M Strong pipeline of repeat-client and negotiated work Exposure to the full project lifecycle from tender through to delivery Supportive and collaborative team environment Direct access to experienced industry professionals and decision-makers Genuine opportunities for career progression and professional development Flexible working arrangements available Modern office environment with a positive and inclusive culture What Success Looks Like Accurate and competitive tenders submitted on time Strong project handovers that support successful project delivery Effective engagement with suppliers and subcontractors to maximise competitiveness Identification of value engineering opportunities that enhance project outcomes Consistent contribution to winning profitable work and supporting business growth The Reward Salary up to $160k depending on experience This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected and growing commercial fit-out contractor that genuinely values its people.
