Salary: $89,292 - $96,073 a year plus superannuation

Role summary: Court Assessment & Prosecutions Officers are responsible for supporting the operation of the Court Assessment and Prosecutions Service and applying relevant work practices. This includes conducting initial assessments, variations or prosecution against an individual's court order.
Key responsibilities
* Provide timely, high quality, evidence-based advice to stakeholders
* Undertake an effective assessment of an individual's risk to community safety
* Effectively manage individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours
* Produce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelines
* Travel to Bairnsdale as required
About you
* Experience or knowledge of court processes and prosecutions
* Demonstrated ability to provide human services in needs assessments and development of interventions
* Pays attention to words, expression and body language; recognises behaviours that promote a culture of inclusion
* Resolves issues through deep understanding or interpretation of existing guidelines
