Defence Project Management Expert
We're seeking a highly experienced Defence project management expert to lead our team in delivering complex and strategically significant Defence projects.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the delivery of Defence projects in line with agreed scope, schedules, and objectives;
* Implementing and coordinating project plans to ensure milestones are met within budget and aligned with strategic objectives;
* Interpreting complex data and providing clear, actionable insights to support key project decisions;
* Overseeing the development of client reports, submissions, and presentations, ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables;
* Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members across all project stages;
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with Defence clients and stakeholders to support long-term partnerships;
* Contributing to business planning and supporting the sustainable growth of Defence services and profitability;
* Driving new business opportunities through active involvement in proposals, tenders, and industry engagement.
Requirements:
* 10+ years' industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Defence accompanied by contractor experience;
* Proven experience in project planning, program scheduling, and/or project controls on below-the-line defence projects;
* Demonstrated experience in working on complex projects with a high level of understanding of the defence environment;
* Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to develop, mentor, and coach team members;
* Relevant qualifications in fields such as Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, or Business/Commerce;
* NV1 security clearance (or willingness to obtain);
* Experience in securing and delivering new business opportunities (desirable but not essential);
* Experience using Deltek Open Plan and Cobra software (preferred but not essential);
* Ability and desire to be involved in technical work while managing a team and exploring business development;
* Previous experience in a consultancy setting is highly regarded.
