GLA Central Pty Ltd is a labour hire and recruitment company registered in Perth, Western Australia in November 2010. Our business model is based on sourcing, recruiting, and subcontracting skilled workers across a wide range of industries to meet the operational demands and workforce requirements of our client businesses throughout Australia. GLA Central has signed service agreements with different types of industries across the country. We recruit workers for them in occupations such as welders, metal fabricators, machinists, mechanical engineering technician, fitters, trade associates, construction workers, aged care workers, beauty therapists, and hospitality workers, among others. These roles are essential for our client base, which spans industries experiencing ongoing skills shortages and facing difficulties in sourcing suitably qualified and experienced employees locally.

Due to business growth, we are now seeking an experienced Human Resource Manger to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Develop, implement and oversee HR policies, procedures and systems tailored to GLA Central operations, ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and labour hire licensing requirements.
* Manage end-to-end workforce planning for a large contingent and on-hire workforce across multiple client sites, including forecasting labour demand and managing workforce mobility.
* Oversee high-volume recruitment, onboarding and induction of temporary, contract and permanent workers, including skills verification, background checks and right-to-work compliance.
* Ensure compliance with labour hire licensing schemes (e.g., WA) and maintain accurate employment and placement records for audits and regulatory inspections.
* Advise management on employee and industrial relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, unfair dismissal risks and dispute resolution.
* Manage award interpretation and pay compliance, including correct classification of workers, minimum pay rates, allowances, penalties and overtime across multiple awards and industries.
* Oversee workplace health and safety coordination in collaboration with host employers, ensuring workers are inducted, trained and compliant with WHS requirements at host sites.
* Develop and implement performance management frameworks for internal staff and on-hire workers, including KPIs, feedback mechanisms and corrective action processes.

Suitable candidates are:

* Minimum of 3-year experience in a similar role;
* High level of skills in teamwork and leadership;

* Qualification in a related field is preferred but not mandatory;
