Key Engineering Role
Make a real impact in our maritime defence team with your expertise in engineering change and asset management for vessels.
As an Engineering Officer, you will provide expert support across various engineering disciplines to ensure repairs, maintenance processes, and systems are effective and compliant with contract KPIs. You will work closely with national and port-based teams to enhance the capability and performance of our maritime assets.
Responsibilities:
* Provide engineering support to site teams and stakeholders.
* Participate in engineering working groups and technical discussions.
* Manage engineering change processes and related documentation.
* Approve corrective maintenance approvals and risk assessments.
* Conduct maintenance investigations and audits of maritime assets.
* Prepare scopes of work, risk assessments, and cost estimates.
* Contribute to key contract deliverables and reporting.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a maritime or engineering discipline.
* At least 10 years' experience in Defence or Marine industry.
* Familiarity with vessel systems, structural design, and stability.
* Knowledge of Defence and Commercial vessel regulations.
* Experience with engineering investigations and asset change processes.
