We’re partnering with a respected and growing MSP in the Newcastle/Hunter region that’s looking for a capable, charismatic tech leader. This is the perfect role for someone who loves solving problems, building relationships, and delivering real impact — both technically and operationally.

What You’ll Be Doing
Technical Delivery (Senior Engineer Scope)
* Tackle complex issues and lead project rollouts with hands-on support
* Work across Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD, Defender, networking, backups and firewalls
* Contribute to improving documentation, tooling, and standards
Service Delivery Leadership
* Oversee and prioritise tickets, projects and day-to-day delivery
* Support, guide and mentor junior engineers — and lead by example
* Ensure high service standards, strong SLAs, and great client relationships
Commercial & Strategy Support
* Be involved in quoting, planning, and roadmapping conversations
* Build rapport with clients and contribute to strategic outcomes
* Drive process improvements, automation, and scalable practices
Who This Role Suits
You could come from an MSP, in-house IT team, or be the person everyone already turns to when things get tricky. We're looking for someone with a solid technical foundation and the confidence to own outcomes — not just tickets.

* Have 5+ years in tech support, systems admin or MSP environments
* Communicate clearly, confidently and comfortably with clients
* Love solving problems and juggling multiple priorities
* Enjoy mentoring others and being seen as the safe pair of hands

Bonus Points For:
* MSP experience and exposure to tools like ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar
* Microsoft/Sophos/Cisco certifications
* Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python)
* Familiarity with frameworks like Essential Eight or quoting tools like Zomentum
