Role Purpose

To support the end-to-end procurement process for goods and services at Kwinana Energy Hub, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, while delivering value through effective sourcing, contract management, and supplier engagement.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end procurement activities, including onboarding current suppliers and monitoring delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment, drawing on 2–3 years’ experience in procurement and contract.
- Assist in executing sourcing strategies that align with category management framework and local business needs, leveraging previous experience to drive cost-effective solutions.
- Support all stages of the contract lifecycle by drafting, reviewing, and maintaining contract documentation in accordance with standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and deliver cost-effective sourcing solutions that meet operational timelines.
- Engage with suppliers to obtain quotations, clarify technical specifications, and negotiate pricing and terms under the supervision of senior team members, applying negotiation skills developed over 2–3 years in procurement roles.
- Maintain accurate procurement records including supplier data, contract terms, and purchase history to support audit readiness and robust reporting.
- Ensure strict compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA), procurement policies, and local regulatory obligations, including LRMS and information security standards.
- Participate in procurement audits and self-verification activities to uphold governance and local content requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements and supporting best practice implementation, underpinned by proven experience in driving operational efficiencies.

Education & Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in a field related to procurement, supply chain, business, or finance is preferred but not essential.
- Equivalent relevant professional experience in procurement or related disciplines will be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Postgraduate qualification or certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is desirable but not mandatory.

Desirable Criteria

- Experience working in procurement within the energy, industrial, or technology sectors.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and tools, such as SAP and Ariba.
- Experience supporting contract negotiations and supplier performance reviews.
- Active participation in procurement-related forums, working groups, or industry events.
- Certification or training in procurement (e.g., CIPS Level 2–4, ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma) is advantageous.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and digital transformation in procurement.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural or geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong written communication skills for documentation, reporting, and stakeholder updates.
