The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth within the defined territory by maximising sales of Smith + Nephew Sports Medicine products and brands through regular contact with the target customer base.
This role will require strong account management skills, including developing and executing short and long-term account strategies that support S+N SPM strategies and objectives. The ability to implement and maintain an effective account management process is essential.
A key aspect of this role will be creating accurate sales forecasts and providing timely monthly reporting to the Regional Sales Manager on actual to forecast performance. Additionally, the candidate will need to actively monitor market trends, including competitor activities, and work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to develop relevant strategies to mitigate risks to achieving sales forecast.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales and/or account management, preferably within the medical devices industry. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interpret financial and clinical data.
The role requires approximately 20-80% travel, depending on business needs.
