About The Role
Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role is responsible for the integrity of financial reporting, compliance, forecasting, business performance analysis and strategic financial guidance across the organisation. This position plays a critical leadership role in supporting operational and executive decision‐making while ensuring strong governance and financial control.
This opportunity suits a highly capable finance leader who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and can confidently manage both strategic priorities and detailed financial operations.
As the Senior Finance Manager, you will oversee the full finance function and provide high‐level commercial support to the leadership team. You will be responsible for managing financial performance across multiple business units while ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
* Manage budgeting, forecasting and long‐range planning processes
* Prepare detailed profit and loss reporting by business unit
* Oversee cashflow forecasting and working capital management
* Ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand tax obligations
* Manage payroll governance and statutory reporting requirements
* Provide commercial insights to support business decisions
* Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability
* Lead cost analysis, rebate calculations and pricing reviews
* Coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting
* Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and automationSupport senior leadership with strategic financial advice
What We're Looking For
Whilst experience in the Construction, plumbing or Concrete industry is preferred, we are open to applicants without experience who have the right attitude and mechanical mindset. If this sounds like you, please also include a cover letter with your application.
Our Preferred Candidate Has
* Degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting
* CPA or CA qualification
* Extensive senior finance experience in a multinational environment
* Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand financial regulations
* Advanced SAP and Excel capability
* Proven ability to manage complex financial data
* Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders
* Strong leadership and communication skills
