Support Class Teacher
A dynamic opportunity awaits an experienced and passionate Support Class Teacher to join our community of dedicated professionals. We are seeking a highly skilled educator to provide exceptional support and care for students with diverse learning needs.
Job Description:
As a Support Class Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that fosters the growth and development of students with Autism and/or mild-moderate intellectual disability, and/or other disability. You will work collaboratively with the class teacher and support staff to deliver high-quality education and support services.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualifications in Religious Education or willingness to undertake relevant study;
* Active and committed Catholic or ability to support the ethos of a Catholic school;
* Special/Inclusive Education qualification or commitment to gaining qualifications;
* Experience teaching in a support class or similar setting;
* Ability to provide adjustments to meet individual learning needs;
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
