Job Description
As a Business Analyst in our Consumer Tribe, you will be responsible for supporting projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile). Your primary objective will be to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across Business and Technology.
* Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
* Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
Additionally, you will be expected to raise and support mitigation and resolution of risks and issues using established tools and frameworks where applicable. You will also create user stories (in JIRA) to support delivery and work closely with squad/project members to ideate and discover new initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Minimum 2-4 years' experience in business analysis, preferably from a large organisation.
* Strong understanding of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation.
* Ability to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions.
* Financial Services or Insurance background, solid industry knowledge with the ability to understand regulatory environments, customer needs, and operational challenges.
* Proven experience in ideation and discovery, demonstrated capability to identify, shape, and evaluate new initiatives, from concept through to business case, with a focus on driving innovation and value.
