Child and Youth Mental Health Occupational Therapist
The position is a challenging opportunity for an occupational therapist to work with children and young people experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health difficulties. The role involves providing clinical assessment and intervention, case-management, and single-session/brief therapy within the general sector team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provision of discipline-specific consultation and assessment to clients and clinical services internal and external to the area
* Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
* Regular professional development opportunities and supervision
Requirements:
* Approved tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy
* Membership with the Occupational Therapy Board via AHPRA
* Developmental Psychiatry Course or equivalent (preferred)
