As a critical response team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our site-based operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting with day-to-day running of emergency services, medical teams, and compliance with site-based and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of equipment for emergencies, including inspections and reporting
* Conducting fitness for work assessments on-site according to company policies and procedures
* Planning, coordinating, and participating in site emergency drills to ensure readiness
* Providing medical services and maintaining facilities in an operational state
* Maintaining a high level of physical fitness required for the job role as per company standards
Qualifications and Experience
* Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response & Rescue or Certificate III in Public Safety (Fire Fighting and Emergency Operations)
* Cert IV in Health Care as a minimum (Diploma or Degree advantageous)
* Specialized training in Rope rescue, Road Crash Rescue, Firefighting, Confined Space Rescue, Breathing Apparatus, and Hazmat operations
* Western Australian HR Driver's Licence
* Certificate IV in WHS and/or Training and Assessment (desirable)
* Previous experience in emergency response and incident management is highly valued
