About the Role

The Team Lead, Productivity and Collaboration is responsible for the delivery, optimisation, and ongoing support across BDO's Microsoft 365 Productivity and Collaboration suite. This includes core productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote), collaboration services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), and enterprise services such as distribution lists, Planner, Viva, and AvePoint. The successful candidate will work closely with technology, information security, and business stakeholders to ensure these platforms are reliable, secure, and effectively used while identifying and executing continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the delivery and optimisation of the Microsoft 365 Productivity and Collaboration suite in line with agreed roadmaps and standards.
* Ensure collaboration platforms are configured and operated in line with governance, security, and compliance standards.
* Coordinate work across technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver effective collaboration and communication outcomes.
* Establish and maintain clear success metrics, adoption targets, and feedback loops.
* Support the introduction and adoption of Microsoft 365 capabilities to ensure consistent and effective use across the organisation.
* Apply change management methodologies (Prosci) to ensure successful implementation and uptake of new capabilities.
* Embed structured ITSM processes aligned to ITIL to ensure operational consistency and high‐quality service delivery.

About You

This position is suited to an individual who is seeking an opportunity to utilise their technical skills and experience in a leadership role.

Qualifications

* Prior experience working with Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration suite in a delivery or support role.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender capabilities.
* Experience working with stakeholders and team members to deliver practical technology outcomes.
* Ability to lead, coach, and develop the team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, customer centricity and continuous improvement.
* A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline is required.
* Additional certifications in Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, or IT service delivery are highly desirable.
