About the role
Zenith Overland, a leading manufacturer of premium campervans, is seeking an experienced Campervan Cabinet Maker / Carpenter to join our team in Cambridge, Tasmania. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the custom design, fabrication and installation of high-quality cabinetry and woodwork within our top-of-the-line campervan models.
What you'll be doing
* Designing and fabricating custom cabinetry, furniture and other woodwork elements for our premium campervans
* Installing cabinetry, furniture and other woodwork components with a keen eye for precision and attention to detail
* Working closely with the production team to ensure seamless integration of your work into the overall campervan design
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
* Providing recommendations and innovative ideas to continually improve our campervan interiors
What we're looking for
* 3-5 years of experience as a cabinet maker or carpenter, ideally with in the RV, automotive or similar industries
* Experience in CNC operation and 3D design software
* Strong woodworking skills, including proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
* Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Passion for creating high-quality, bespoke interior solutions
