Spare Parts Interpreter - Yamaha Outboards
Bills Marine are seeking a Yamaha Outboard Spare Parts Interpreter to join our established Marine Dealership in Far North Queensland.
If you have a passion for boating or fishing and are looking for a change, we want to hear from you. Previous parts interpretation experience is highly regarded, however training and support will be provided for the right candidate that has a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

The Role
This position is focused on interpreting, supplying, and managing Yamaha Outboard spare parts and accessories enquiries, supporting both retail customers and our internal workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret customer enquiries and supply Yamaha Outboard spare parts and accessories
* Process internal and external parts sales, including preparing invoices, quotes, and purchase orders
* Provide accurate technical advice relating to parts to our customers and workshop technicians
* Deliver a high level of customer service via phone and face-to-face interactions
* In collaboration with the Parts & Accessories manager, ensure inventory, stock control, and parts ordering is maintained to the company standard.
* Pick, pack, and dispatch spare parts orders
* Prepare and supply parts for workshop and internal sales departments
* Maintain organised parts systems and documentation per the company standard.
Skills & Experience
* Previous spare parts interpretation experience (marine or automotive preferred)
* Knowledge of Yamaha Outboard products would be highly regarded
* Basic mechanical knowledge is required.
* Marine chandlery or boating industry knowledge is an advantage.
* Strong computer literacy and ability to learn parts cataloguing systems
* Excellent communication skills with a professional phone manner
* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
* Team-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
