Our bakehouse is growing, and we now have an opportunity for a Trade qualified Pastrycook with Plant Bakery experience to join our team of cake-loving individuals in Keilor Park, VIC and be part of baking history.

How You Will Rise To The Occasion
In this role, you will produce a wide variety of baked goods including pies and celebration cakes, while utilising a range of skills from running high speed processing equipment to manual handling ingredients and finished product.
Core Duties
* Produce a range of pastry and cake products utilising your trade skills and plant bakery experience.
* Set-up and monitor production to maximise quality and minimise waste.
* Ensure production targets are met whilst always ensuring HACCP quality and safety adherence.
* Provide leadership in continuous improvement and team effectiveness.
Importantly, you will follow health and safety standards while ensuring that your area is clean and always maintained.
Please Note: public transport is quite challenging in this area and as such you will need a car to get here.
THE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED
* Trade qualification or at least 5 years relevant experience
* Sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and Quality
* Plant baking experience
* A dash of enthusiasm
* A large splash of passion and creativity
* A sprinkle of positivity and optimism
* A dollop of teamwork and collaboration
* Willingness to learn
Previous experience working in a fast-paced food environment (plant bakery, large commercial kitchen or equivalent) is essential.
