Your new role
* Provide high-level administrative support within a Queensland Government department
* Deliver excellent customer service to the department's clients
* Compile documents and reports with accuracy and attention to detail
* Update records and information systems, including Ellipse and Microsoft Office
* Manage internal and external correspondence and phone calls, ensuring timely responses
* Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with performance KPIs
* Liaise with industry contacts, local suppliers, and stakeholders to support service delivery
* Contribute positively to team culture and perform recurring administrative tasks
* Support customer satisfaction by balancing client needs with business objectives
* Undertake general administrative duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
* Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel (including Excel 365), Windows Explorer, and File Explorer
* At least 6 months of experience in a bulk, repetitive data entry environment with a high level of accuracy
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Experience providing customer service
* A solid understanding of English
* Must have experience using Ellipse and supporting contract / asset management
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with KPIs
* Professionalism and a team-oriented mindset
