About Warehouse Operations:
The warehouse team leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations within our warehouse facilities. Key responsibilities include identifying cost savings opportunities, monitoring and reporting variations in items sourced for distribution, and reviewing blocked purchase order reports to minimize the number of lines.
Additional duties involve managing labor costs, reviewing back-order reports weekly, and liaising with relevant stakeholders for solutions. This includes providing regular and timely feedback to team members, collaborating with colleagues to identify improvements in purchasing processes, and ensuring daily creation of purchase orders in SAP.
Key objectives also encompass reviewing and developing store ordering processes, providing feedback on stock management and purchasing enhancements, entering goods receipting for all incoming items, and resolving receipting issues through stakeholder liaison.
Daily tasks will also include implementing and managing stocktakes, reviewing minimum/maximum stock levels, monitoring SAP reports for outstanding purchase orders and backorders, and assisting with manual handling and pick/pack duties as required.
In this critical role, you will generate reports as needed and conduct daily pre-shift meetings to identify workload and multiskilling opportunities.
About You:
We seek an individual with experience in warehouse/inventory operations, proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service, and ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
A sound leadership ability, effective communication and time management skills, and professionalism in dealing with confidential information are essential qualities for this position.
Additionally, we require a current Australian C Class driver's license and forklift license, along with proficiency in SAP or similar inventory-based systems and competent Excel experience.
