About the Role
You will be Manager in the Central Office team for Integrated Responses and Educational Precincts Initiatives, leading the implementation of a new integrated response support model and managing significant change in the way the department and schools approach school-community partnerships.
**Equity and Excellence**: Realising the potential of every student aims to create more equitable conditions so that all schools enable all students to realise their potential. A small number Queensland state schools in the most complex communities will receive a specialised system response that supports them to collaborate with partners and across government agencies to deliver locally responsive and integrated strategies to benefit students and their communities. Implementing this initiative will be an exciting journey with lots to learn and many complexities to be managed.
We are seeking exceptional and experienced people who believe that school-community partnerships are the key to social change and who can provide and lead the project and central office functions required for success. If this sounds like you, then this may be the opportunity you've been waiting for. The department recognises that valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures through co-design and building the cultural capability of all staff benefits every student and all our work.
