Job Type: Full-Time | Location: Hybrid (Must be in Charlotte, NC)
Optomi, in partnership with one of our premier clients, is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join a high-impact SRE team supporting web and mobile platforms in the digital unauthenticated customer experience space. You’ll own triage, observability, and infrastructure reliability across APIs, forms, and dashboards. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about stability, automation, and eliminating toil.

Experience of the Right Candidate:
* 3–5 years in SRE or DevOps roles supporting production systems.
* Experience leading triages and working with multiple teams or directors.
Strong background in:
* AWS (Lambda-heavy environments).
* Terraform.
* GitLab CI/CD (as a user, not necessarily building pipelines).
* Monitoring/observability tools (Dynatrace preferred, Datadog/Splunk acceptable).
* Supporting APIs and front-end systems (not building, but owning uptime and incident response).
* Dynatrace or similar enterprise observability tool expertise.
* Experience supporting financial or highly regulated environments.
* Prior development experience in frontend or microservices environments.
* Familiarity with production readiness and SLO/SLA frameworks.
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
* Own on-call support on a rotating basis, acting as first responder to alerts and incidents.
* Monitor system health and support application uptime across mobile and web environments.
* Lead triages and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders during major incidents.
* Support and enhance observability using industry-standard monitoring tools.
* Leverage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to manage cloud infrastructure.
* Contribute to platform stability through proactive reliability engineering and root cause analysis.
* Maintain runbooks, error budgets, and system performance documentation.
* Partner with sustain engineering teams and help implement SLOs for key systems.
* Occasionally assist with module builds and CI/CD support (GitLab).
