Assistant Financial Accountant

About the Role
The Finance and Accountingdepartment is responsible for the timely provision and analysis offinancial information to all business units and to assist them inachieving their objectives. Reporting to the Finance Manager, youwill be responsible for compiling the weekly cashflow and assistingwith tax compliance and treasury function, together with providingsupport to the Financial Accounting team.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
• Daily bankingrequirements
• Preparing weekly cashflow forecast
• Assist with month end and year end closing
• Preparing monthly work papers for GST and IAS consolidatedrevenue for PAYG
• Assisting with the preparation of FBT information for theannual FBT return
• Preparing and lodging ABS surveys.
• Preparation of account reconciliations including bankreconciliation and small entity reconciliations
• Assist with the preparation and of supporting informationfor the Income tax return
• Assist with interim and annual audit co-ordination
• Assist with foreign currency hedging
• Assist with the compilation of payment times reporting
• Liaise with operations to prepare weekly cashflow forecastand assess working capital requirements
• Monitor and review workloads ensuring adherence to timeframes and work standards
• Attend team meeting to provide a review of completed andfuture workflow requirements
• Adhoc work as requested by the CFO & Finance Manager
