About the role
JRE Contracting PTY LTD is seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team in Townsville, QLD. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic company within the road transport industry.
What you'll be doing
- Operate multi combination (MC) vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Deliver goods and materials to various locations within and around Townsville and out of town
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company safety policies
What we're looking for
- Current MC driver's licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience driving heavy vehicles in the road transport industry
- Strong knowledge of road rules and traffic regulations
- Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
