Parking Officer
Location: Tamworth, NSW Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
* Deliver fair, consistent parking enforcement to support safer roads across the region.
* Engage with the community on a day-to-day basis.
* Provide a hands‐on operational service in responding to parking complaints and policing to ensure the safety of road users.
* Provide input into strategy development to improve operational efficiency in relation to parking and enforcement.
* Provide back‐up response and assist the Ranger team where required.
Qualifications
* Higher School Certificate
* Driver Licence
* Immunisation against Hepatitis, Tetanus and Q Fever (or willingness to obtain)
Benefits
* Salary range: Grade 9 – $1,243.30 – $1,345.40 per week plus superannuation and applicable allowances for a 38‐hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills and experience.
* Weekend work required as part of a rotating roster.
* Flexible working arrangements considered by mutual agreement and operational requirements.
* Pre‐employment medical screening, including Alcohol & Other Drugs testing.
