Overview
At Guardian Personal Alarms, we support older Australians and vulnerable people to live safely and independently.
We're looking for an organised and proactive Accounts Officer to join our team and support the smooth running of our accounts and financial processes. This varied role covers accounts receivable, customer communication, and provider administration.
About the Role
Working closely with the Accounts Manager and internal teams, you will manage customer accounts, invoicing, payments, and account enquiries.
You will also liaise with NDIS and Home Care Package providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and funding documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Issue customer invoices and manage accounts receivable
* Follow up overdue payments and manage debtor accounts
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
* Liaise with NDIS and Home Care Package providers regarding payments
* Respond to customer and account‐related enquiries
* Maintain accurate financial and customer records
* Support general administration, reporting, and data entry
About You

Skills & Experience
Essential
* Minimum 1‐2 years experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Officer, or similar role
* Experience using Xero or similar accounting software
* Strong administration and record‐keeping skills
* Good computer and spreadsheet skills
* Strong written and verbal communication
Desirable
* Experience with NDIS or Home Care Package funding
* Small business experience
* Understanding of credit control processes
