We're representing a leading national infrastructure delivery group with an outstanding pipeline of energy and civil projects shaping Australia's future.
They're now seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the commercial team on a major program of works — managing costs, contracts and commercial performance across a complex, fast-paced environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Commercial Manager – Energy Infrastructure, you'll play a key role in driving contract and cost outcomes on critical project packages.
You'll work closely with Project Engineers, Procurement and Commercial teams to deliver projects safely, profitably, and in line with commercial and contractual obligations.
This is a hands‐on, site‐based position that would suit a commercially minded CA or QS who thrives in a dynamic environment where every decision counts.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage head contract and subcontract administration, variations, and progress claims.
* Partner with Project Engineers on forecasting, cost tracking, and commercial performance.
* Prepare bid analyses, contract documentation, and procurement support.
* Drive financial reporting accuracy, budget forecasting, and cost control.
* Support post‐award contract management and project close‐out processes.
* Liaise with Accounts Payable and support financial system setup and reporting.
* Assist in tender evaluations and commercial strategy development.
About You
* Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering.
* 5+ years' experience in contract administration, commercial, or cost engineering roles.
* Strong financial acumen and understanding of project cost control.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in Jobpac, Prism, or SAP (highly regarded).
* Previous experience in energy, civil, or resources infrastructure projects.
