Women's and Children's Health Network, Health and Recovery, Trauma Safety Services (HaRTSS), North Adelaide (5006)Salary Classification: RN/M2C - Clinical Nurse/Midwife LV2 - $87,416 to $110,497 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice BenefitsPart Time: (0.5 FTE) - Ongoing PermanentAbout The OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join HaRTSS as a Sexual Assault Nurse, where you will be responsible for:Providing high-quality clinical forensic nursing care to ensure optimal health outcomes for consumers.Conducting forensic evidence collection and documentation for sexual assault investigations.Preparing forensic reports and providing expert opinions for legal proceedings.Assessing consumer needs, developing care plans, and coordinating appropriate service delivery.Managing referrals to other disciplines or agencies to meet healthcare needs.Supporting risk minimization practices to ensure consumer and staff safety.Participating in clinical teaching, mentoring staff, and contributing to professional development.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Registered nurse with at least 3 years post registration experience.Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service to the client who has experienced rape or sexual assault.High level skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation.Demonstrated ability in successfully working with limited or no direction or supervision and exercising a high level of professional judgement and clinical competence within scope of practice, in a multi-disciplinary setting.Experience with assessment in sexual health and anogenital examinations.Demonstrated competence in assessment of clinical issues.What WCHN Can Offer YouRelocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
