Senior Clinician Roles
We are seeking experienced clinicians to join our team as Clinical Directors in the Emergency Department at Katherine Hospital.
About the Role:
The Clinical Director will be responsible for leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals, providing exceptional patient care and ensuring efficient service delivery within the emergency department setting.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with diverse medical conditions
* Developing and implementing effective treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
* Providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members
* Maintaining high standards of clinical governance and quality improvement
Requirements:
* Relevant medical qualifications and experience as a clinician
* Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices
Location:
Katherine Hospital is located 3.5 hours' drive south of Darwin, surrounded by Nitmiluk, Kakadu, and East Kimberley National Parks.
